Precision Machinist
Perform precision machinist functions and manage the two person team located in mobile manufacturing cells in either Iraq or Afghanistan. Responsible for operating and programming a Mazak Integrex 100 Multi-task Machining Center. Mazatrol conversational language will be used; technical data will not always be available. Work without constant supervision in a confined space, manufacturing a minimum of four different configurations of parts each day. Selecting, installing and setting tools in the machine as well as maintenance on the machine and all ancillary equipment. Required to work 84 hours per week.
We require at minimum a High School diploma and 5 years experience on MAZAK machines with a minimum of 3 years experience in MAZATROL conversational programming language; individuals with Integrex is highly desirable. You must have experience with Microsoft Office to include but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel; additionally one year experience with AUTOCAD or similar computer aided design software is essential for this position.
This is an overseas assignment in Southwest Asia, you must be US Citizen, able to obtain a secret clearance and get a US passport or have a valid one to date. We require you to be able to stay 6 months or longer in Afghanistan or Iraq.
