Just started using ME Consultant Pro today and I have now completed 9
quotes using the software. I love it!! Several parts were the same size and
spacing holes, except for different quantities. I love the way I can load an
existing quote and quickly edit the number of holes only and then save as a new
file. Sure saves a lot of repetitive tasks and makes a very nice worksheet for
at the machine. I also like how quickly I can play "what if" and get
an answer to different cutters or materials. The drill depth calculator makes a
big time saver as well. All in all I am very happy with my purchase of the
software. I can see that quoting will no longer be the thorn in my side it was.
Thanks for making a great product! Rob Ratz
Just wanted to say thanks for the emails regarding the update and for
sending the link over again - this is such a cool piece of software. I am not a
machinist - I do R&D and have a Minitech MiniMill 1 (small) with a high
speed spindle for prototyping designs - proof of concept and pre-manufacturing
- your software is showing me how much quicker I can do things since it takes
into account all of the factors - cut width, cut depth, end mill size, feed,
speed, etc. My CAD/CAM software, which I love dearly- is rather conservative on
cutting speed/feed since it does not take into consideration all of those
factors. I am now overriding the software and inputting the speed and feed your
software calculates and it is wonderful to see I can save literally hours of
cutting. Here is an example of what I mean: Being inexperienced in
machining/cnc I was afraid to run a 3/64 end mill more than .005 depth of cut
and around 5 ipm because I was afraid it would snap like a twig. Using your
software I was able to work my way up to .03 doc at full width and at 18 ipm
with a 3 flute carbide em. Program run time has gone from over 2 hours to under
15 minutes. Nice! Ryan Brown of The Forje L.L.C.
Excellent. As a computer programmer turned part time machinist, I've
found your software to be invaluable. When I need to set a speed or feed, it's
the first place I go. When I need to drill a hole to be tapped, I turn to
MEPro. And when I found the MEPro didn't handle roll form taps, I asked Mike
Rainey about it and a week later received a beta version that did. Your support
is phenomenal and your price is outrageously low. Feel free to quote me and to
use my name and company. Ken Lerman of Mark Kenny Products Company, LLC
I use MEPro as an adjunct to machine design. I use it to estimate the
cost of each floor-to-floor operation. It is amazing how it focuses your
thinking (or that of your client) when you can show how much that latest bell
or whistle is really going to cost. You get one whale of a bang for a buck with
MEPro. That is why MEPro is the perfect fit for me. James McCabe of M4, The

MEPro is the most used tool on my desktop, I use it from programming to
estimating. It's a lot of info packed into one small package. Rick Galindo

MEPro is one of the fastest and easiest programs I've ever used for
estimating and for generating data for my process drawings. It has a very small
footprint on my machine, it has never crashed, and it is extremely accurate.
It's a time saver for me on a daily basis. It does everything that programs
costing 10x as much do and more. For engineers and machinists alike it's a
great program to purchase and have at the ready on your desktop. Robert
Wolinski of Murphy Machine Products, Inc.
ME Consultant Pro has given me the confidence to do the critical task of
quoting a $10,000 job, and to run that $10,000 job unattended. It has been the
software that has made it possible at our shop, to place a rookie in front of
our CAD/CAM system and have confidence that the end product would be a
success.Lars Christensen, Lead Programmer of Rid-Lom Precision Mfg.

I've been using the program since it's inception in the mid 90's and
have watched it get better with each new version. Using the Job Planner, I'm
able to quote new jobs within seconds of actual run times and within pennies of
actual cost. Being able to play "what-if" with different tooling or
even between different Machining Centers is a great benefit. The extensive
amount of data available is also a valuable resource to the machine operators
for finding speeds/feeds, drill depths, tap drill sizes and much more. The
Thread Data module is the most comprehensive I have ever used. It's much more
useful and informative than the Machinists Handbook or any other reference
book. And the printed report gives you all the information you need at a
glance. Brad Weldy, Manufacturing Engineer
Finally a one-stop shop for machining right at my fingertips. I have
always used slip sticks and a myriad of dedicated speed and feed calculators
for guesstimating cycle times for quotes. Now I can plan out my job and get
real cycle times in minutes. This saves me time and gives me confidence in
quoting that I previously didn't have. Once I get the job I use the same speeds
and feeds in my CAM software to start right out machining with practical
parameters. The threading information is second to none I have seen. I can
order tooling knowing I am in the proper parameters whether I am making a JIS
or a UNJF thread. No need for me to keep up with all the standards. I
appreciate software written by a person that knows what I need to know and
presents it in an easy to understand format. A great value for the quite modest
initial investment! Thanks for the continually improving software Mike!

When I consider of all the time spent looking up machining information
from books and on-line sources it makes me doubly appreciative of MEPro. It's
straight forward interface with an astounding amount of available information
with just a few clicks makes MEPro a big winner for me. I especially like the
never-satisfied approach that Michael Rainey has in regards to updates and
improvements. Ken Shea of On Target Sports OnLine
